In the Netherlands, GP care is reimbursed by basic health insurance. We can only bill Dutch health insurers. You can read more about paying for GP care in the Netherlands here.
Costs of GP care and treatment
For everyone with Dutch basic health insurance who is registered with a practice, the practice receives a registration fee per quarter. For people without Dutch basic health insurance, a practice does not receive this rate. Therefore, this care falls under the passerby rates.

Are you not insured at all or do you have international health insurance?
Then you have to pay with us before contacting a healthcare provider or after a consultation. For appointments in the practice, you can pay directly by pin and will then be sent an invoice. For online contact, we will send you an invoice afterwards. If you have international health insurance, you can use these invoices for your declaration to your insurer and they will refund this amount to you.
Will you get Dutch health insurance soon?
Then the care provided by a GP will be paid for by your health insurer, including doccs services and the use of the doccs app. However, depending on your healthcare needs, costs may be deducted from your deductible. For more information on this, please refer to your insurer.
