Huisartsenpraktijk Louwesweg and doccs Slotervaart are joining forces as Plantijn Huisartsen.
The demand for general practice care in Slotervaart is growing and becoming more complex. By combining our practices, we will be stronger together — with a larger, more stable team of GPs, assistants and practice nurses. This enables us to continue offering you the quality of care you have come to expect from us in the years ahead.
The practice will remain at its familiar location in the Slotervaart health centre. We will, however, be taking a new practice space into use on the ground floor, with our partner Unilabs (formerly AtalMedial), to the left of the coffee corner. This is where you will find the reception desk and the consultation rooms of the GPs and assistants. The practice nurses will continue to work from the current doccs rooms.
On Tuesday 28 April our systems will be merged. You will not notice anything of this as a patient; we will be open as usual at our familiar locations that day. On 29 April we will open as a single practice, and you will find the reception desk on the ground floor.

If necessary it is always possible to make a shortterm appointment. See your GP at the practice, talk on the phone or chat online. Choose what suits you best.
You can easily start a chat with your GP. Our careproviders will respond to your message during working hours.
You can chat with us about all kinds of (care) questions. Outside opening hours, you can quickly see where to go in case of an emergency.
With the doccs app you always have your care provider nearby. We ensure that the question reaches the right person within the practice. This makes it easy to get in touch and you can always review the conversation.
Through the app, you chat with your care provider and discuss complaints or concerns. Most questions are handled the same business day. You can also request medication through the app.
If needed, you can always come to us for an appointment. Together we check who and when it is best for you. We will send you the agenda so that you can schedule an appointment when it suits you best.
Yes. every doccs GP office has a fixed GP team. When you schedule an appointment, you choose your own doccs doctor.
doccs is there for all your health care questions. Do not use the doccs app in life-threatening situations or emergencies. In life-threatening situations, call 112.
In the Netherlands, general practitioners can only claim directly from Dutch health insurance companies. Are you not insured at all or do you have international health insurance? Then you pay for your consultation with us and you can submit it to your insurer yourself. You will receive an invoice from us after payment which you can use for your claim.
We will also send you an invoice for contact via the doccs app. You can then arrange payment online, or pay the invoice when you are in the practice within a short time afterwards.
Do you have a Dutch health insurance? Then care by a general practitioner is paid for by your health insurance company, including the services provided by doccs and the use of the doccs app. Depending on your health care needs, costs may be deducted from your deductible. For more information on this, please refer to your insurer.
Yes. When you start using the app, select a 5-digit personal PIN. You enter it every time you open the app, so that only you can access your data. The chat is secured with end-to-end encryption. Chats are sent encrypted. Of course, the doccs app meets all Dutch and European requirements set by law for the protection of personal data.
