We understand that sometimes you may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. That is no problem – provided you notify us in good time. This allows us to use the time that has become available for another patient who needs care.

You can change or cancel your appointments yourself in the doccs app. If you do not use this app, please contact the practice by telephone to inform us.

If you do not show up for your appointment without cancelling, we refer to this as a “no show”. We will charge you for this, because the time was reserved for you and cannot be filled by someone else. The cost for a missed appointment is €30,-.

Why do we charge fees?

• Our schedules are tightly planned. A missed appointment means that another patient has been unable to be seen.
• The GP and assistant have set aside time for the appointment, resulting in unnecessary loss of capacity.
• By applying a no-show fee, we hope to encourage patients to cancel in good time, so that together we can keep waiting times as short as possible.

Payment

• You will receive the invoice digitally.
• Payment is required before you can make your next appointment.
• Please note: these costs are not covered by your health insurer.

Rules per location

The exact rules and cancellation options may vary per practice location. These depend, for example, on how busy the consultation hours are. Below you will find an overview per location.

• Utrecht Veilinghaven:
  • Appointment with any healthcare provider: cancel or change up to 24 hours in advance.
• Amsterdam Slotervaart:
  • Appointments with the GP or assistant: cancel or change up to 4 hours in advance.
  • Appointments with the mental health nurse practitioner: cancel or change up to 48 hours in advance.
• Amsterdam Amstel III:
  • Appointments with the GP or assistant: cancel or change up to 4 hours in advance.
  • Appointments with the mental health nurse practitioner: cancel or change up to 24 hours in advance.
• Tilburg de Toren:
  • Appointments with the GP or assistant: cancel or change up to 5 hours in advance.
  • Appointment with the mental health nurse practitioner and somatic nurse practitioner: cancel or change up to 24 hours in advance.
• Tilburg Heikant:
  • Appointment with the GP or assistant: cancel or change up to 5 hours in advance.
  • Appointment with the mental health nurse practitioner and somatic nurse practitioner: cancel or change up to 24 hours in advance.
• Eindhoven Airborne:
  • Appointments with the GP or assistant: cancel or change up to 5 hours in advance.
  • Appointment with the mental health nurse practitioner and somatic nurse practitioner: cancel or change up to 24 hours in advance.
