Information about health and illness

We would like to refer you to the website Thuisarts.nl. This is a website created by general practitioners where you can find reliable information about your health and illness. Here you will find information about what you can do yourself for certain complaints and when you should contact your general practitioner.

Health insurance

The Health Insurance Act stipulates that anyone who lives or works in the Netherlands is obliged to have health insurance. This website explains everything you need to know about health insurance.

Do you have Dutch health insurance? Then the care provided by a GP is paid for by your health insurer, including the services provided by doccs and the use of the doccs app. Depending on your care needs, costs may be deducted from your excess. For more information about this, please contact your insurer.

Do you not have Dutch health insurance? Then you pay us for your consultation and you can submit it to your insurer yourself. After payment, you will receive an invoice from us that you can use for your claim. We will also send you an invoice for contact via the doccs app. You can then arrange payment online or pay the invoice when you visit the practice shortly afterwards. For more information, click here.
