I have been a physician since 2017, graduated from the University of Groningen. I then gained work experience in gastrointestinal, liver diseases (Noordwest Hospital Group), oncology (Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital) and geriatrics (Me-doc). I have been working as a general practitioner since 2023. What makes the GP profession so fascinating for me is the unprecedented diversity of challenges and situations, both in the medical field and in contact with patients. It is with enthusiasm that I now fulfill my role at doccs, at the Slotervaart and Amstel III locations. My dedication lies in the pursuit of optimal care for my patients, and I see doccs’ innovative approach as a valuable means of achieving this goal.
My name is Tim Wessels. I was born in Stockholm but grew up in Uithoorn. I lived in Amsterdam while studying at VU University Amsterdam and completing my GP training at VU University Amsterdam. I have been living in Amstelhoek with my wife and our two children for several years now.
I have been a doctor since 2015 and a general practitioner since 2021, having worked in Woerden for several years, among other places. I joined doccs as a general practitioner in the summer of 2025.

My name is Roos Buitenhuis and I thoroughly enjoy working at doccs. In addition to my own practice as an integrative counsellor and hypnotherapist in Schellingwoude, I work one day a week as a mental health nurse practitioner at doccs Amstel III and one day at doccs Slotervaart. My passion lies in guiding people in a way that is both practical and profound. Through my work in both my own practice and at doccs, I am able to support clients from different perspectives and help them develop balance, insight and resilience. I work from a calm, empathetic approach and find it valuable to offer people insight and practical tools. At Doccs, I am particularly drawn to the modern, accessible working method.
As a mental health nurse practitioner at doccs Amsterdam Slotervaart, I offer short-term counselling for adults with mild to moderate psychological complaints, including stress, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment problems and early burnout. In addition to my work in general practice, I have my own counselling practice, where I work with expats, returnees and international workers. I bring this experience to my POH work, with extra attention to the influence of cultural context, life changes and long-term adjustment on mental functioning.
I am Roshnie Mithoe, born and raised in Amsterdam and now working as a doctor’s assistant for 12 years. I have gained a lot of experience at various GP practices, health centers and hospitals throughout the Netherlands. At doccs, I work alternately at the Amstel III and Slotervaart locations. Because patients can manage their medical questions, repeat prescriptions and appointments via the app, we can help them quickly and well. That’s why I like working at doccs.
My name is Alice van Wilgenburgh and I live with my husband and two children in Aalsmeer. I worked in tourism for 27 years and then thought it was time to change course. I have been working at doccs as an administrative and patient service assistant in the front office since 2022 and since now on al so as location manager.. I work in the practice in Slotervaart and in Amstel III. Doccs is a young and dynamic organization with a fun and enthusiastic team. Within my job, no day is the same and that makes it a lot of fun.
